Life of Webster Groves Baptist Church

The annual Mission Banquet begins at 5:00 p.m. on the Sunday evening of July 8.  The Mission Committee will highlight the mission projects of this past year and challenge us with the projects planned for a new year.  Mrs. Cynthia Holmes, will be the guest speaker for the evening.

Cynthia Holmes, a St. Louis attorney, was elected as CBF moderator for 2003-04. Holmes, who attends Overland Baptist Church in St. Louis, is on the 14-member board of trustees of Americans United for Separation of Church and State and the 45-member board of the Baptist Joint Committee on Public Affairs. She also is a former moderator of the Missouri CBF.  She is pictured here with Dr. Daniel Vestal, recently retired Coordinator of the CBF.

Bernice Edmonson and Ruth Ellsworth are hosting the Youth / Children Lunch at noontime on Sunday, July 15.  This monthly activity is a fun/food/fellowship between our youth and the participating adult hosts.

We assist in the Bosnian / International Food Pantry on Saturday morning of July 21.  Volunteers are needed.  Speak to Russell concerning details.

Join us at the Ice Cream Fellowship: 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 22.
