WGBC hosted an informational seminar about the importance of Estate Planning from a Christian perspective. Ron Mackey, Advancement Officer, The Baptist Home was the Presenter for the Estate Planning Seminar.
Lori Kem, daughter of Ken and Pat Clark, will be singing in our worship service on Sunday, March 6. Lori often sings in churches where she visits. Lori and her beautiful family live in Fulton, Missouri. She is employed with Stephen Ministries.
The pastor will be preaching a series of sermons during Lent that accent the Cross. A major portion of each Gospel dwells upon the events of the Cross and the Resurrection. The first Sunday of Lent is March 13. The final Sunday of Lent is Palm Sunday, April 17. Easter is the last Sunday of April.
