Dear Members and Friends of Webster Groves Baptist Church:

I am resigning as the Pastor of the Webster Groves Baptist Church.  I began this journey with you on July 1, 2003 as an interim pastor and I was installed as your Pastor on February 29, 2004.

This has been a good ministry but I now say good-by.  The people of Webster Groves Baptist Church are some of the finest of God’s Kingdom.  The Deacons have always had a heart for ministry.  They take seriously the responsibility of ministering to the members of our church family.  I appreciate the role that the deacons assume in our church.

The leaders that chair the committees and those who serve as the elected officers of our church are servant-hearted individuals.  I commend them.  I am grateful for their work.

The members and friends of our church are kind-hearted individuals.  They love the Lord and yearn to honor God in the daily tasks of their lives.  I commend each of you.

But now, I say good-by.  My final day as your Pastor will be on January 31, 2013.
