Members of Webster Groves Baptist Church,

I wanted to write a brief letter of thanks to the congregation for extending to me the opportunity to serve as Interim Pastor. I understand that the congregation is earnestly seeking God’s face and direction for the future. I am humbled that you have invited me and my family to participate in that process. Be assured that we do not have any underlying agenda in accepting your invitation. We also earnestly seek God’s direction for our lives and I see this as the convergence of the prayers lifted up by Webster Groves and my family. Ultimately, during this interim time, we hope to see God glorified within the local community and Webster Groves Baptist Church encouraged and empowered to be the congregation that God is calling you to be. It is our privilege to be a part of that process.
