The final Youth / Children luncheon for the year 2012 will occur on October 14 following the Sunday morning worship hour. Three ladies (Bernice Edmonson, Ruth Ellsworth, and Judy Holstein) are hosting the Youth / Children Lunch at noontime on Sunday, October 14. This monthly activity is fun/food/fellowship between our youth and the participating adult hosts. The luncheons will continue in 2013.
We begin at 6:30 p.m. on the Friday evening of October 19. We play table games and we talk and we munch on refreshments. Some only talk and eat; some do all three. It doesn’t matter; we want you to feel welcome to join us on Games Night. Speak to Ken Clark for details.
We need work-day helpers with an emphasis on the outside of the building for Saturday, October 27. But, if you choose an in-door project, we also welcome you. Work-days are a time to catch up on the maintenance of the building and grounds. Speak to Dan Bembower or Jean Knue for details.
It is becoming an autumn tradition when we gather on the traditional “trick-or-treat” night and welcome the neighborhood children to receive a treat and a friendly welcome.
