Life of Webster Groves Baptist Church

Our annual picnic is Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. on the last Sunday of May.  We will meet on the lovely setting of Jack and Becky’s backyard.    Church will provide plates, cups, plastic ware and napkins; Reams will provide cold soda and water. Please bring your lawn chairs; a grill will be available if you want to cook meat.

Hannah Davidson, daughter of Mark and Becky Davidson, recently was inducted into the National Honor Society of the Webster Groves High School.  The National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization recognizing outstanding high school students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. NHS is proudly sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals.

Webster Groves Baptist Church has been vital part of the Webster Community since 1913. Our congregation continues today seeking to be Christ’s church in a changing community and world. Our Mission Statement reflects who we are and where we are going as a people:
We are an autonomous congregation of Baptist Christians worshiping God and ministering together as disciples of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to equip every member to faithfully share the gospel of Jesus Christ with our community and world.
Our ministry and mission efforts extend into the community and around the world through our cooperation and affiliation with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and CBF of Missouri:. We are also involved in ecumenical ministries through participation in the Friendship International Ministry, Webster/Rock Hill Ministries and others.

The Sunday Worship of God begins at 10:45 a.m.

The Bible Study Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m.

From Lockwood Avenue–near Webster University and Eden Seminary– turn north onto Summit Avenue. WGBC is located at the corner of Summit and Oakwood Avenues, right in the heart of Webster Groves.
