Christmas carolers change venue given rainy weather

About 20 folks gathered for musical Christmas revelry after church on Dec. 13.

About 20 folks shared the holiday spirit with song and fellowship today after church.

The original plan had been to go caroling around the neighborhood, but the rainy weather was a sign that a more intimate fellowship was in God’s plan.

After a small lunch of chips, sandwiches and Christmas cookies, attendees chose favorite songs, and cheerful voices joined to create a seasonal harmony and raise our Yuletide spirits.

It was proposed that next year an evening dedicated to such musical revelry might be in order.

Special thanks to Barbara for compiling the lyrics and procuring the luncheon items.

All are invited to join us after services on Dec. 13, to go out into the neighborhood and share our Christmas spirit with caroling.

Before our venture, a small lunch will be provided, and hot cocoa of course.

Vocal talents are not a prerequisite; lyrics will be provided; joy will be shared.
